Kim Kardashian and her new hubby, Kris Humphries, may already be on their honeymoon, but friends of the reality star are still gushing about her lavish wedding, which all went down Saturday in Montecito, California.
“Just watching Kim walk down the aisle was probably the best thing ever,” Jonathan Cheban told MTV News. “It was ‘wow.’ She looked gorgeous, and the whole thing was huge. There were helicopters flying, so you couldn’t really hear that much. As everyone got to see her at different moments, when she walked by, I was so happy for her.”
The wedding, which included A-list guests like Lindsay Lohan and Ryan Seacrest and an over-the-top party, looked exactly how Cheban imagined it would. “I knew it was going to be that: lots of helicopters, lots of celebrities, lots of amazing food and dancing and performances. It was great,” recalled the star of “The Spin Crowd,” which Kardashian produced. “It was really a major, major, major wedding.”
Now that Cheban has rested up post-party, he’s ready to start on a slew of new campaigns, including acting as the face of Wodka vodka and working with Kim again to develop some new TV shows.
“I will definitely be doing a lot of filming in the future, and I’m also developing shows. I’m developing a competition show, which I’m excited about. It’s very, very cool, and I’m doing that with Kim as well,” he teased of the forthcoming project with his bestie. “TV’s definitely in the future.”
So what’s it like to work with Kim and be her pal? “It’s very professional,” he revealed. “When it’s work time, we’re on it. She’s always on it. She’s literally the busiest woman in the world. She’s a great partner with stuff.”

After weeks and weeks of build up to their big day, Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries are finally man and wife – and we’re drowning in every miniscule, over-the-top detail. Let’s just get this over with, shall we? (It’s like ripping off a bandage – once we get through today, our lives will become a little less Kardashian-filled, right? RIGHT?!??)
Let’s start with the black and white-themed ceremony, shall we? The famous couple tied the knot Saturday on a private estate in the Southern California hill town of Montecito in a ceremony which kicked off 37 minutes (fashionably) late.
Kardashian was walked down the aisle by stepfather Bruce Jenner. The Vera Wang-clad bride paid homage to her late father in a program printed and handed out to guests, reports E! News. It read: “I so wish my dad could be here today to walk me down the aisle, but I know in a way he is here, and I feel his loving presence all around me. I love and miss you, dad.”
Despite the sweet sentiments, Kardashian managed to maintain her composure at the altar. (Hey, did you really think she was going to risk looking like a mascara-covered raccoon in front of all of those reality TV cameras?)
“Kim didn’t cry,” a guest told Us Weekly. “She was smiling the whole time.”
Kardashian may have been as cool as a cucumber but a source told People Humphries was overheard saying “I’m nervous,” before his bride walked down the aisle. Read More?

Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries may be busy getting ready to become husband and wife this weekend, but the happy couple made time on Thursday for a wedding rehearsal dinner.
The intimate event took place at Scarpetta, a restaurant inside the Montage Beverly Hills hotel, and lasted about three hours.
So, who exactly was in attendance?
“It was just some family and friends,” a source who was there tells E! News. “Nothing crazy!”
In fact, the whole celebration, which went off without a hitch, was very low-key.
“It was fast,” the source adds. “There were a couple of speeches from Kris Jenner, Kris Humphries’ dad and her sisters.”
And it certainly seems like everyone enjoyed themselves.
“Had such an amazing night with my family and friends,” Khloé Kardashian Odom tweeted later in the evening, as did the bride-to-be herself.
“What a fun night with family & friends!” wrote Kim.
Meanwhile, with just hours until she ties the knot, the future Mrs. Kris Humphries called into Ryan Seacrest’s radio show this morning to chat about the big day.
“It will be so intimate and so heartfelt, and [the guests] will think, ‘Oh, my God, that dress!’ ” said Kim, referring to her Vera Wang-designed gown.
She also revealed that while she did have “a freak-out moment” about a week ago, it was simply about wedding preparations and nothing to do with Kris, saying that their relationship is “just so normal, healthy, trusting and easy.”
When the subject of her late father, Robert Kardashian, came up, Kim said he will most certainly be there in spirit, and she plans to carry something of his down the (more….).

A small, intimate affair for Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries’ Aug. 20 wedding? As if!
The new Us Weekly, on stands Wednesday, has the latest info on this summer’s biggest wedding — including the A-listers expected to attend the ceremony for the reality starlet, 30, and her NBA hunk, 26.
Among the 500 invited, according to insiders: tennis champs Serena and Venus Williams, Nicole Richie, Ryan Seacrest (executive producer of the Kardashian clan’s reality shows), fellow E! star Kelly Osbourne, Kim’s bestie La La Vazquez and NBC’s Maria Menounos.
But not every star in Hollywood was able to clear their calendar for the nuptial bash. Kelly Ripa, who’s going to be out of town on the 20th, sent her regrets; American Idol also-ran Pia Toscano (Kardashian wanted her to perform) also declined.
But Toscano’s man, Dancing with the Stars’ Mark Ballas, is a big part of the wedding planning: He worked with the bride and groom to choreograph the first dance!

On the morning of April 29, 22 million Americans tuned in to watch Kate Middleton marry Prince William.
The following week, the couple was on the cover of dozens of magazines, with people still poring over every detail of their royal “I do’s.”
But Kate’s turn as a bridal cover girl would be short-lived.
Just three weeks later, reality star Kim Kardashian landed herself on the front of People magazine with a big ring (with a 20.5-carat diamond, for those keeping score) and the big news that she was engaged to NBA player Kris Humphries.
And with that, the other wedding of the year was under way.
Not convinced the Kardashian hoopla rivals the royals? According to several of the countless paparazzi hoping to get a shot of her wedding this Saturday, a high-quality candid photograph of the bride in her wedding dress could sell for the same price as a 2012 Porsche Boxster.
Kim, and her “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” co-stars/family members, will also have their own four-hour TV special — yes, four hours — to air on E! in two parts, on October 9 and 10 (more..)

At a luncheon for her new documentary Gloria: In Her Own Words, Ms. Steinem had a few for Kim Kardashian and her celebrity sisters, reports the New York Daily News. When asked by luncheon hostess and Newsweek editor Tina Brown whether the Kardashians empower women, Steinem said bluntly, “No. They’re not empowering other women.” See Steinem’s qualification, as well as her thoughts on Lady Gaga and Sarah Palin after the jump.
“But there’s no point in blaming the people who take advantage of the system without changing the system,” Steinem continued in her appraisal of the Kardashians. “Imagine if this were a family of boys. If men were rewarded for the same things, they would be doing it too.”
Steinem also had little fondness for potential presidential candidate Sarah Palin, designating her “a woman only a man can love.”
So who does the founder of Ms. magazine see as a powerful female role model? Look no further than Lady Gaga. “I think she speaks for outsiders and she champions being yourself no matter what,” said Steinem. “It seems positive to me.” And look out, PopWatchers, you might just see Steinem at one of Gaga’s upcoming concerts. The icon said she’d “be happy to go” see Gaga in the flesh.

With less than nine days left until her big day, you’d think she’d be running last-minute wedding errands and hitting the gym and spa. But not our girl.
Kim Kardashian had a lot to celebrate this week including her cover for the world’s first 3-D magazine, the online release of her Sears’ line, Kardashian Kollection and, oh yeah, a little event called the Teen Choice Awards.
Hey, you can sleep when you’re dead, right? Check out how Kim squeezes the most out of her social schedule the week before her wedding:
Sometime between the Teen Choice awards on Sunday, where Kim and her sisters scored an award, and her party Wednesday night, Kim managed to make a whirlwind trip to NYC for her wedding dress fitting. The future Mrs. Humphries’ accomplishments have earned her the title of this week’s Most Valuable Partyer! So grab your hard-working family and go celebrate making the most of out your schedule even when you’re about to walk down the aisle (more…).
